Next, enter the details of your mentor. This is usually your manager or Director, but check with your colleagues.

When you create a new sheet again, you will be able to select the same data to auto-fill the boxes.
Your PSA details are next. As with your mentor details, you can quick select their details in future to complete the boxes.

Now you can start adding your projects. When you have created a project, it will appear in this list for future sheets. When you start a new sheet in the future, you can quickly select which projects you have worked on from your past list, then you just need to update the tasks you have completed.
Add your project details, such as type, value and location. The guidelines for this section prove to be quite useful.

When adding your tasks, try to keep the Part 3 criteria in mind and expand whenever possible.

Any other tasks such as marketing or office management can be added here, as well as any CPDs attended.
The Reflective Summary can take quite a long time to complete, but can prove to be very useful when thinking about your experience and where you feel you need to develop more in the future. Try to be honest with your comments, and use them as a reference when writing your future sheets.

The Student/Mentor appraisal form is a good opportunity to check with your mentor that you are performing well, and if they can identify any areas which you should try and gain additional experience in. Again, try to reflect honestly on your experience in practice. Putting in more effort at this stage can be very rewarding further down the line.
Print your sheets in draft format. When you view as a 'final copy' YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT THE SHEET AGAIN. This can not be stressed enough. Check your work thoroughly. Ask friends, family members and colleagues to check it.

After your sheet is complete, you have spoken with your mentor and got their comments and signature, you can send your sheet to your PSA for their comments and signature. When your sheet is returned, keep it in a very safe place until you submit them for your Part 3 application.
